Lizzie McMindes

Lizzie McMindes grew up here in Rochester, New York and received her dance training at the Draper Center for Dance Education. While training there she was able to perform with the Rochester City Ballet annually in their production of the Nutcracker. She also spent her senior year in the New York State Ballet Graduate Program performing with the New York State Ballet and attending competitions where she placed top 12 at UBC and was invited to YAGP Finals. She then left Rochester and moved to Pittsburgh, PA where she was a part of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater’s Graduate Program. Over the 4 years she danced with them she was able to perform in their productions of the Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Swan Lake. She then moved back to Rochester as a company member with New York State Ballet and has gotten to perform in their productions of the Nutcracker, Hansel and Gretel, Sleeping Beauty, and Beauty and the beast. This is her first season with Ballet of New York.
